MVLA After School Soccer

MVLA has partnered with a number of local schools to bring Soccer After School to kids of all skill levels in grades K-3.  This program is the first of its kind for Los Altos and Mountain View.  Taught by a number of MVLA’s best professional coaches, the program highlights the best attributes of soccer and focuses on technical skills, ball handling, team play, sportsmanship, and FUN!

How Does It Work?

  • The program consists of six to eight 45-minute skill building sessions meeting once a week after school - times vary per school so contact mvlaprograms@mvlasc.org to learn more.

  • The program is run during in the fall and spring seasons.

  • MVLA Soccer Coaches come to your school to run the clinics.

  • MVLA provide all equipment for the children; kids simply need to provide shin-guards, water and a heavy dose of enthusiasm.  (Note - cleats are not required -- athletic shoes are preferred)

  • We structure the sessions so that there are approximately 15 kids per each MVLA coach.

If you have questions or would like to set up Soccer After School at your Los Altos or Mountain View School , please contact MVLA’s recreation coordinator for more information at mvlaprograms@mvlasc.org.
