On August 18th & 19th, MVLA Monsoon 99G White won their group to advance to the finals of the Soccer by the Bay Silver Division.  The Monsoon White drew 2-2 in their first game against West Valley, but won 2-0 in their subsequent games against Redding Valkyrie and Sunnyvale Extreme Red.  At end of group play, the Monsoon White finished with more points and more goals scored than any team in the division.

The Monsoon White then drew with Gryphons 99G White from San Mateo, with each team scoring a goal in the second half.  After two, scoreless 5-minute overtimes, the teams preceeded to penalty kick’s where the Gryphons prevailed 3-2.  The complete Soccer by the Bay results are here.  Pictured are
