Two MVLA U13G teams placed in the CVYSL Magic Cup Premier Division held on August 25th & 26th.  MVLA Blue Thunder 99G won their bracket to play in the Final, while MVLA Monsoon 99G Blue finished second in their bracket before going on to win the Consolation game for 3rd place in the Premier Division. MVLA Blue Thunder went undefeated in Bracket A group play, winning 3-1 over CV Crossfire 99G Red, 2-1 over FC Elk Grove 00G Navy, and 2-0 over Ajax United Elite.  The Blue Thunder went on to the Premier Division U13G Championship game, eventually losing 2-0 to De Anza Force 99G Blue.

MVLA Monsoon 99G Blue  finished 2nd in Bracket B group play, with a 6-0 win over SC Sporting 99G White, a 3-0 loss to eventual champion De Anza Force 99G Blue, and a 1-1 draw with South San Jose Fusion 99G.  Monsoon Blue’s  2nd place finish earned them a spot in the Consolation game, where they won 3rd place for the Premier Division by defeating CV Crossfire 99G Red 2-1.
