MVLA Pythons Blue U13B Win State Cup - Gold Division
MVLA Pythons Blue Boys U13 beat Cal Odyssey Red and won the NorCal State Cup Championship Final in the Gold 2 Division. The boys earned this opportunity by shutting down Mustang Lokomotiv and AUEB United East Bay in the Quarter and Semi-Final. Nice job boys!!!
Double Medals - Tournament Champions and State 4 Finalists in State Cup
Winning Month for Monsoon Blue U12 Girls
Monsoon Blue became State 4 finalists at the prestigious NorCal State Cup tournament, finishing in the elite top 8 group out of 92 teams in Northern California. Earlier this month the girls started the new year by capturing the Championship title at the Palo Alto Winter Turf Tournament in the Premier Bracket. MVLA Jaguars Blue U12B Captures 3rd Place
MVLA Jaguars played hard this past weekend to win 3rd place in the Palo Alto Turf Tournament. MVLA Jaguars won every game except one to Elk Grove giving up the only goal of the weekend. This is great preparation for their State Cup games, where Jaguars Blue are ranked # 3 heading into the quarterfinals which take place Jan 21st and Jan 22nd, 2012.

MVLA's Teresa Noyola win MAC Hermann Award
MVLA’s own Teresa Noyola, former Gatorade Player of the year, is the winner of the MAC Hermann Trophy. Teresa’s teammate, Lindsay Taylor, another MVLA alumn was runner up. Both players led Stanford to their first NCAA Championship on December 4, 2011.

MVLA Typhoons Black U13G team captured the District 2 Cup title on November 20th scoring 2 goals against Juventus. Typhoons Black plays in the top competitive CYSA league. The team is coached by

MVLA Vipers Blue '00' Boys Team Double Finalist
MVLA Vipers Blue 00’ U11 Boys Team just came from placing 2nd in Almaden Tournament when they found themselves in the CYSA District Cup finals two weeks later. Both tournaments, the boys played remarkable, only giving up 1 goal in the Almaden Tournament in the championship. "These boys have been playing great and are really progressing", MVLA Vipers Head Coach, Rafael Soares commented, "They are ready for 11v11 play in spring!"
