Rules
(Please send to visiting manager)
- Public access to school grounds is not allowed from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm when school is in session
- Animals must remain on leash
- Alcoholic beverages, drugs, and smoking are prohibited
- No dogs allowed on the turf or the track
- No food allowed on the turf or the track
- No drinks other than water allowed on the turf or the track
- Teams are to sit on the north side of the field closest to the school. There is limited space between the touchline and the track so any team benches and canopies can be placed on the track but must not extend past the first 4 lanes so that the track is available to joggers (the track is open to the public at all times).
- All spectators are to sit in the bleachers just off the track on the south touchline closest to Middlefield Road. Do not block the track as this is open to the public at all times.
Setup
- Goals should be set up on the field but may be against the south fence facing Middlefield Road.
- The storage box is at the back on the left side of the building as you face it from the field. LOCK the storage box IMMEDIATELY after retrieving the equipment.
- 4 saddle anchor bags should be used to weigh down the goals. If they are not already in place, place two on the back of each goal as shown on the photos below.
- Corner flags (4 – use the red ones) and turf bases (4 – use the MVLA marked ones as the AYSO bases and flags have different size poles) are retrieved from the AYSO orange RIDGID storage box located behind the restroom building which is next to the Middlefield Road entry gate.
Cleanup
- Return the following equipment to the orange RIDGID storage box and ensure that the box is LOCKED and the numbers on the lock are spun
- 4 corner flags
- 4 turf bases
- Please leave the field cleaner than when you arrived.
Additional Requirements for NPL / ECNL-RL Games
NPL / ENCL-RL games have additional requirements as outlined in the NorCal Handbooks. MVLA provides equipment to meet these requirements, and it is up to your team to arrange for a volunteer or volunteers to pick up this equipment on the day of your game or coordinate with other teams for a handoff between games. Because this equipment is shared between teams, you must only pick up the equipment allocated to your team on the dates designated to avoid conflicts.
Equipment for this field is stored in the storage unit at Graham Middle School. The MVLA storage room is unit B on the opposite side of the concession/bathroom building. The key is located in a key lock box located on the fence next to the building. Note that there are 2 lock boxes. MVLA’s lock box is the large Igloohome lock box on the left side of the fence. Type in the code and press the unlock button, wait for the light to flash green, then pull the front of the box open. Return the key IMMEDIATELY to the key lock box after opening the door and propping it open before retrieving ANY equipment. DO NOT place it in your pocket and forget to return it.
NPL / ECNL-RL (Equipment for Crittenden is marked with YELLOW TAPE)
- 2 canopies
- 2 sets of 4 canopy sand bag weights (total of 8)
- 1 bench for your opponent (second bench should be provided by your team)
