Rosita Park 7v7 Grass Field

Important to Know

  • MVLA must not use other AYSO equipment in the storage lock box and please ensure that the goal anchor weights are not on top of other equipment which they might break.
  • The natural turf on Rosita is especially tender. Use caution when using it.
  • The park is frequently used by dog owners who don’t always follow good dog owner practices. Having a parent walk the field before a game to check for dog waste is always a good idea.

Setup

  • Goals: MVLA has one set of 7v7 goals at Rosita. They are set up with one goal on the paved area to the east and and one to the north of the field.
  • Corner Flags and Goal Anchor Weights: Corner Flags and sandbags are stored in the brown Knack box at Rosita (if you’re facing from the parking lot, it will be on the right-hand side by a tree along the fence line).
  • Use two goal anchor weight sandbags per goal.
  • Relock the storage box after removing the items you need and do not leave this unlocked during games.

Cleanup

  • Please return goals to the same location when there is no MVLA game immediately following yours. Even if you found the goals on the field, they need to be returned to the paved areas to the east and north of the field. Goals should be facing the fence.
  • Return all equipment to the storage box (at Rosita – see note above) after the game and relock the lock.
